Battery


iTraq Nano is our most energy-efficient device with the longest battery life. With reports set for one per day, it will operate four months on a single charge. iTraq Nano uses three location technologies: WiFi (the most optimal method in terms of accuracy and power consumption); GPS/GLONASS (the most accurate method but consumes more power); and Cell-ID (lower accuracy).

Schedule


iTraq Nano operations are driven by the customer-defined schedule. Using the free iTraq mobile application (iOS or Android), you can define the frequency of the location reports. These reports can range from every 10 minutes to once a day. The battery life depends on the frequency of the reports. The more reports per day, the shorter the battery life. Please note: between the reports, iTraq Nano is in a deep sleep state to preserve the battery.

Sensors


Motion Detection: iTraq Nano uses an accelerometer to detect different types of motion. You can trigger iTraq Nano to report when motion is detected. 

Temperature Sensor: You can view the ambient temperature and trigger iTraq Nano to report when the temperature reaches a specified threshold.

Guard Mode


In many cases, it’s important not only to know the location of the iTraq Nano, but to be alerted if the device has been removed from a designated area (i.e., a child leaves the house after hours). Define your Guard Zone by specifying the radius on the map.  When the iTraq Nano leaves this designated area, you will receive an alert on your mobile phone. You can also be alerted when the device is back in the Guard Zone.


Service


iTraq Nano comes with 2,000 location reports that expire after one month. After the initial month, you can subscribe to an annual or monthly service plan. Each plan has an unlimited number of reports.
